Merzstrukturen by Yona Friedman
Art as a social project, improvising public spaces
The Hungarian-Israeli architect Yona Friedman has redefined architecture as strictly connected with the social space, in which the members of a community can realize their own idea of planning and building. He wants to apply simple rules for building architectonic structures in a way that everybody can use them. This project is an exemplification of these rules for the people
of Ein Hawd.
There are no public or other spaces, but homes* in Ein Hawd, the project was exhibited in the balcony of the mayor home.
